The doctrine of the church is revealed in Scripture. The church
does not have any human creeds, catechisms, church manuals, or professions
of faith (cf. 1 Tim. 4:1- 16; 2 Tim. 3:1-17).

The church can teach no other doctrine than the doctrine of Jesus
Christ (cf. Gal. 1:6-9).

The church cannot embrace the doctrines of men (Col. 2:22-23; cf.
2 Tim. 3:16-4:2).

Rev. 3:8, 10
|
The church must keep Christ's word; the church must keep His commands
(cf. Heb. 5:9).
