Forgiveness
Bible study on forgiveness.

Mk. 16:16; Acts 2:38; 8:38; 22:16; Rom. 10:10; 1 Pet. 3:21


A person who is not a Christian must believe, repent, confess Jesus, and be baptized for the remission of his sins.


Acts 8:22-24; 1 Jn. 1:9- 2:2

Christians who sin must repent, pray, and confess their sins for forgiveness. Jesus Christ is their Advocated with the Father.

Christians who sin must pray in faith for God to forgive them (Jas. 1:6; 5:15).


Matt. 6:12


God forgives us as we forgive others (cf. Matt. 18:21-35; Mk. 11:25-26).


Lk. 17:3


If our brother repents, we must forgive him.


Col. 3:13

We must forgive a person who sins against us, as Christ forgave us.
