Judgment
Bible
study on judgment.
Heb. 9:27
It is appointed for men to die once, then to be judged.
2 Cor. 5:10
All men must stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Jn. 5:22;
2 Tim. 4:1, 8).
2 Cor. 5:10; 1 Pet. 1:17; Rev. 20:12-13
We will be judged according to our works (cf. 2 Ch. 6:30; Eze.
18:19-32; 33:12-20; Matt. 12:36-37; Heb. 4:13).
Jn. 12:48
We will be judged by Jesus' words.
Jesus said that we will be judged by His words (Jn. 12:48). And,
James said that we will be judged by the law of liberty (Jas. 1:25;
2:12). Therefore, the words of Christ (spoken by Himself or through
His apostles) constitute the law of liberty (cf. Gal. 6:2; 2 Jn. 1:9). The law of Christ and the law of liberty are synonymous.
Matt. 7:13-14
Entering into eternal life is difficult, but entering into eternal
destruction is easy (Lk. 13:24).
Matt. 7:21-23
Some people who think they should be saved will be lost (Lk. 13:25-27).
Acts 17:31
God has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness
(Acts 24:25).
Mk. 13:31-33
The time (day and hour) of judgment is unknown to man.
Jn. 4:17-18
Christians do not fear judgment because perfect love casts out
fear.
