Repentance
Bible study on repentance.

Lk. 13:3, 5

Unless we repent, we will perish.

Matt. 21:28-31

Jesus told a parable of two sons illustrating repentance.

"Repentance" is a change of mind resulting in a change of action.

We are led to repentance by godly sorrow (2 Cor. 7:9- 10).

Someone who repents bears fruits of repentance (Lk. 3:8). Today, a person who obediently turns to the Lord in repentance bears the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-26; Eph. 5:8-10).

Rom. 2:4

God's goodness leads us to repentance (cf. 1 Jn. 4:19).

God's goodness makes us sorry for our sins; thus, we are led to repentance (cf. 2 Cor. 7:9-10).

Acts 2:38; 3:19; 17:30; 2 Pet. 3:9

Unbelievers must repent to be saved.

Acts 8:22; Rev. 2:5, 16; 3:3, 19

Believers must repent when they sin.
